A web solution to capture fire protection strategies and generate GENT Fire control panel code.

With over 500 fire control panels (and more than a 1000 assets), plus a brand new category of fire control panel, existing practices to design, build and implement BAA T5 Heathrow Airports fire control strategy would have literally meant years to complete, to say nothing of the potential errors, difficulty of managing resource or final sign off.

As the name implies, it was a multifaceted problem that required capture (in short time) of ALL the elements needed to create fire control strategies – from practice to product. Against the voiced impossibility, complexity and volume of information, eCom90 not only delivered FACET, but changed forever the method of implementing Airport fire control strategies.

FACET simplifies the design process of fire control strategies and saves time and effort. (fire strategies are in the form of XML files that are downloaded to the GENT controller).
